What inspired you to write this book?

My fondness for sports, academy, and high school romance. I enjoy a male lead who acts aloof but is the first to fall.

What would you like readers to know about your main characters?

He’s on the asexual spectrum. She’s the polar opposite, prioritizing physical intimacy and kink.

What do you hope readers take away from the book?

This story is about breaking self-harming patterns. The characters struggle with the weight of their pasts. I hope readers enjoy their journey and understand that healing isn’t linear.

What might surprise readers about you?

Three careers down and I’ve found my rhythm in the fourth, writing. I’m in my late thirties and proof that it’s never too late to start doing what you enjoy.

One piece of advice for aspiring writers?

Write every day. Even if it’s only for ten minutes. Make it a habit.
